### Phantom Mobile

Bringing the full Phantom wallet experience to iOS and Android.

Phantom had established itself as the leading Solana wallet on desktop. The challenge was bringing that same experience to mobile with full feature parity while making crypto accessible to a new wave of users.

Khalil worked on mobile-first wallet navigation, onboarding, transaction flows, and native app patterns. The app introduced simplified navigation, swipe-based interactions for common actions, and a redesigned onboarding flow.

### Redesigning Phantom's Empty State: Guiding New Users to First Value

Turning Phantom's zero-balance first-run screen into a clearer path to funding a new wallet.

Khalil redesigned Phantom's first-run empty wallet state so new users had one clear path from $0.00 to funding. The final direction used provider trust signals, a single Add Funds CTA, and progressive disclosure for buy and receive paths.

The redesign drove a 31% lift in day-0 funding rate, reduced support tickets about adding money by 40%, and decreased time to first transaction from 8.2 minutes to 3.1 minutes for new users.

### Phantom Recent Activity & Notifications

Redesigning transaction history and introducing push notifications.

As Phantom's user base grew, users needed better visibility into their on-chain activity. Khalil led the design of the Recent Activity tab and push notification system, helping Phantom become a more persistent companion for managing crypto.

Khalil designed the integration of Compound's lending protocol into Ledger Live, enabling users to lend crypto assets and earn interest without leaving the security of their hardware wallet.
