The short version before the full project story.
Context
I designed the integration of Compound's lending protocol into Ledger Live, enabling users to lend their crypto assets and earn interest without leaving the security of their hardware wallet.
Key decision
DeFi lending is powerful but intimidating. Most users interacting with Compound did so through web interfaces that required connecting wallets, understanding gas fees, and navigating complex approval flows. We needed to make lending feel as simple as a savings account while maintaining the security guarantees Ledger is known for.
Role
I worked as Product Designer on Ledger Live x Compound, shaping product decisions across Multi-platform.

The integration surfaces lending opportunities directly in the Ledger Live asset view. Users can supply assets to Compound with a streamlined flow that handles token approvals, gas estimation, and transaction signing through their hardware wallet — all without leaving the app.
This was one of the first DeFi integrations in a hardware wallet companion app, setting a precedent for how Ledger approached third-party protocol integrations going forward.
